Dear Colleagues,
Now that our book is in the process of being published as 'Developing the
Networked School Community' we are beginning work on promoting the concept -
conscious that the challenge will be immense for those teachers, school
leaders and educational administrators who have not yet adopted this
concept as a whole-school practice.
The next stage is to run a follow-up of good practice. We are particularly
keen to have information on pathfinding schools, which have normalised the
use of the digital in their teaching & learning practice, that are now -
even in a small way - beginning to reach out and particularly collaborate
more closely with their parents/carers.
Here in the UK we are probably the world-leaders in the use of VLEs in
schools and their communities and it is therefore time that good educational
practice was available for dissemination and replication not only within the
UK but also world-wide.
At this point in time I'm looking for examples of good practice and thus I
ask, 'Do you know of any schools that would make good case studies - and who
wouldn't mind their work being recognised internationally?'
