Colleagues,

Naace has just received this message from David Jones the Chief Executive o=
f the Council for Subject Associations (CfSA) of which Naace is a member.
Naace members will appreciate the information and may wish to act upon his =
advice;

The CfSA has been advised that the vote on the Education Bill will take pla=
ce tomorrow, 4th February 2010.  Our understanding is that vote will be ver=
y close.

The section of the Education Bill that refers to the Curriculum (Sections 1=
0 - 14) is likely to rest in the hands of two Liberal Democrat MPs (David L=
aws and Annette Brook) whose intention it is to vote with the Conservatives=
 to reject the Primary Curriculum proposals.

The CfSA encourages you to email both these MPs to register your support fo=
r retaining the Curriculum section in the Education Bill.
