Colleagues

CfSA (the Council for Subject Associations) has asked us to identify issues
to be raised at the =91Strategic Forum for Research in Education=92 confere=
nce
on 17th / 18th March.

The conference has the following aims:

   - In the light of international good practice, to maintain an overview o=
f
   the UK system and national sub-systems for the production of new knowled=
ge
   in education and for its transformation, dissemination and use as a whol=
e.
   - To facilitate networking for the exchange of information and the
   sharing of good practice concerning the organisation, production and use=
 of
   educational research within the UK
   - To make recommendations for processes and infrastructure needed to
   address the long-term sustainability, development and improvement of
   educational research within the UK, including the identification of rese=
arch
   priorities and of particular initiatives and investments to address such
   concerns.

Please use Naacetalk to suggest what you consider key topics for any
discussion of educational research.

We would like bullet points not conference papers please! At the end of the
week, we will collate your suggestions and pass them on to CfSA.
